President - Cathy Boley
Cathy is a EC graduate from 1977. During her high school years at EC she was a member of the synchronized swim team. She loved the sport, her teammates, and the coach Pat Holder. After graduation Cathy attended the OU College of Nursing where she earned her BSN. She worked several years in the hospitals before she became a school nurse in 1990. She moved to become the school nurse at her Alma Mater East Central in 2008 through 2017 before she retired. Cathy has been married to her husband David since 1983. They have 2 children Dennis and Melissa who are both married. Cathy is also very active in the Tulsa Cerebral Palsy Association and the President of the Tulsa Parrot Head Club.
Vice President - Gary Roberts
Gary Roberts has been teaching and coaching at East Central for 22 years. He is a member of East Central graduate class of 1985. Gary received his Bachelor’s degree in Health, Science and Physical from Oklahoma State University in 1992 and was an NCAA D1 All American in the sport of wrestling in 1990 for the University of New Mexico. He is currently the Athletic Director, Head Wrestling Coach and Traice Satellite Administrator at ECHS. Under Gary's coaching EC has been State Runner-up 7 times and had 9 Individual State Champions and 15 State Championships including two 3x State Champions, 18 All State Wrestlers and 8 All Americans. Gary has a long legacy as a Cardinal. His grandfather was a custodian, he dad, aunt, three uncles, and sister are all also EC graduates.
Treasurer - Cheryl Behles
Secretary - Ammie Sullivent
Ammie Stone Sullivent graduated from East Central in 1988. During high school she also attended Tulsa Technology Center for Medical Office Assistant. She continued her education at Tulsa Community College. Just a year after graduating, Ammie married Doug Sullivent. They have four children and one son-in-law, Shawn & Kaysi Sullivent Sheehan (26), teachers at Norman High School, Alexander Sullivent (20) a student at OU, Amanda (17) a senior at Owasso High School, and Trenton (8) a second grade student in Owasso. Ammie graduated from TCC with her Associates in Applied Science and spent several years working as a Radiography Tech. When the third child came along, she was able to go per diem and stay at home with the children. While at home, Ammie began working with her church in teen ministry. She decided to continue her education and graduated from Oklahoma Wesleyan University with her Bachelor of Science in Ministry and Leadership. It was during this time that Doug and Ammie received word about a nephew in need of a home. They chose to adopt and Ammie continues to be a stay at home parent for her youngest two children while volunteering at her church.
Lisa Carpenter (Schrader) is a graduate from the Class of 1999. Lisa enjoys serving on the board because it keeps her in touch with her roots and she wants to make a positive impact for the students at East Central. Lisa has served as Vice President of her college sorority alumni group for the past 3 years and that experience will help the East Central Foundation move forward. As a student at East Central, Lisa served as Class Secretary and Red Cross President, while promoting school pride as a cheerleader and wrestling mat maid. After high school and junior college, Lisa earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism from The University of Oklahoma. While working full time, she completed a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Oklahoma State University (although she will always be a die-hard Sooner fan!) Lisa now works as Marketing Director of RAE Corporation, located in the industrial park in Pryor. An important lesson Lisa has learned is to not only find a job you love, but also find a way to balance your career and your personal life. Lisa and her husband, Dustin, live in Broken Arrow and have a one-year-old daughter, Kennedy.
Barbara Davis is a member of the class of '58. Her three children are also East Central graduates. Barbara's Cardinal spirit did not end when her kids graduated. She is still a very important face at EC. Not only does she substitute in the Special Education Department, she is also the game manager for wrestling, basketball, and football. Barbara is a super volunteer who is a vital part of the fabric at East Central.
Shawna (Hayes) Keller is a proud member of the Class of 99. After graduation Shawna went on to earn her BA in History from the University of Tulsa and teaching certification from Northeastern State University. She is currently working on her Master’s Degree at TU. Shawna has taught Social Studies for the last eleven years at the Ram Academy, the alternative high school in Owasso. She also represents East Tulsa (EC and its feeder pattern) on the Tulsa Public Schools Board of Education as Vice President. Shawna is excited about the work of the Foundation because she wants to make sure that today’s Cardinals have access to the tools they will need to succeed. Shawna also has deep roots at East Central, her mom, dad, and aunts and uncles all attended East Central. She and her husband, Jeremy, live in East Tulsa.
